Frequently asked questions

What Mental Diagnoses are treated?

We treat a wide variety of diagnoses including mood disorder, trauma/stress-related disorders, personality disorders, etc.

We do not treat severe intellectual or psychotic disorders. In the event that we see symptoms of a severe mental diagnosis, we will provide a referral to a higher-level of care. However, please feel free to return for maintenance once stable.

Why is the minimum age 14?

At this time, we do not have a physical location and are providing tele-health services only. Tele-health can be difficult for younger children as they are typically not able to process at full capacity. Our hope is to secure a physical space in the near future where younger children can better benefit from seeing a clinician in-person.

What Therapeutic Modalities are used?

We use a variety of modalities including, but not limited to: CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Family System Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.

What interventions are used for coaching?

We use a variety of interventions including, but not limited to: budgeting, credit report education, savings/retirement planning, resume building, education advancement, and career searching.

Can i receive therapy and coaching services?

Yes! Feel free to engage in both services if needed. Keep in mind that coaching services are paid out-of-pocket, as insurance does not pay for these services.
